BiographyRoland Jonsson has maintained an interest in water and fishing since he was a child. Every year, the painter travels to northern Norway to sail the Atlantic waters. He paints in both watercolor and oil and draws inspiration from water in all its aspects. Due to his interest, the subjects of his work are birds, fish, and animals from the Swedish islands, the Norwegian fjords, and the sea; he counts eider, perch, and fox as his favorites to portray.
